I am an Irish editor, journalist and travel writer.
The late Irish essayist Hubert Butler once wrote that real learning was born of curiosity rather than knowledge. The primary intention of this blog is to provide a focus for my curiosities in the hope that I might learn something.
There is another intention. Most journalists and writers have stories for which a publisher cannot be found, but that despite rejection, go on forming in one’s mind. I hope this blog will be a home for some stories of mine that, for one reason or another, have nowhere else to live.
